July 28, 2013

Public events

This week Jess and Carmen led Estuary Hikes for 12 visitors.

4 visitors from Germany joined Carmen’s Beach Walk today.

Last Saturday’s Coastal Birds & Marine Mammals Discovery Lab drew 93 visitors, and this week’s Wednesday and Friday GulfWatch Alaska labs drew 221 people. Next week our labs will feature harmful and invasive species that KBRR is monitoring for – phytoplankton (harmful algal blooms or HABs), invasive crabs, and invasive tunicates. Please join us if you can.
